Game Recap

The Red Riders boys basketball team got a hard fought victory last night over league leader Indian Valley. The Red Riders playing at home, came out early and took a 8 point lead into halftime. In the third quarter the Braves came storming back with an 18 point quarter to tie the game heading into the fourth. In the fourth both teams went back and forth with the lead, ending in a 43-43 tie at the end of regulation. The Riders kept their composure and continued excellent team play in the overtime session. Marcus Conway found Ki’Shea Benjamin in the left corner with time running out for the game winning three pointer . It was a great team victory with many different players contributing in the big win. The Riders were paced by Marcus Conway’s 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assist. In addition to hitting the game winner, Ki’Shea Benjamin ended the game with 12 points. R’mani Robinson added 12 points and 6 rebounds and Ben Summers, John McClure, and Logan Domer had 7, 6, and 2 points respectively. Next up for the Riders will be league foe Manchester.
