In a heated and hard fought rivalry game, the boys basketball team lost a tough one to Wooster on Saturday night. The middle two quarters did the Riders in after outscoring the Generals in the first and fourth quarters. The Riders were outscored 31-20 in the second and third quarters. The Riders struggled all night getting into an offensive rhythm and had too many turnovers, but the team fought hard to the end and had a chance to win at the end. Cayden McDaniel led the Riders with 20 points, followed by Ben Summers with 11 points and team high 8 rebounds. Logan Domer scored 8 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Ben Amstutz again chipped in with 4 points and 5 rebounds to help the Riders. The Riders have a busy week with 3 games this week. On Tuesday they travel to Tuslaw to face the Mustangs, then they are at home on Friday and Saturday. On Friday they finish the conference schedule against Manchester and Saturday they face wayne county foe Northwestern.
